About TLAU

TLAU (Time Limit After Unlock) is a screen time app that's different by design. Instead of asking the user for a specific limit of whole day's usage, TLAU asks a different question right after you unlock your phone:

''How much time do you want to spend on your phone right now?''

You decide that right after you unlock your phone. Everytime. You don't have a flat limit which you can't cross for a whole day, because we all need our phones for a variety of reasons and being locked out for the rest of the day simply doesn't work. This simple logic is the thing that makes you be less on the phone. Many times, you unlock without a clear purpose and this question indirectly asks you: ''why are you here?'' sometimes causing you to lock the phone and do something meaningful.
